Position Summary

Quinte Health is seeking detail-oriented Clinical Cutover Clerks to help support the transition of Diagnostic Imaging appointments from our legacy system to Cerner. This temporary role involves accurate data entry and system migration tasks. The position is anticipated to last up to 3 months.

Required

• Education: High school diploma and medical terminology certificate.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet functions.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry and record management.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
• Computer Proficiency: Work experience with computers and general clerical tasks.
• Work Independence: Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Duties

• Data Migration: Transfer diagnostic imaging appointments from the legacy system to the new Cerner application with accuracy and efficiency.
• Professional Communication: Exhibit courteous and respectful behavior in all interactions, always maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Quality Service: Uphold the highest standards of service, contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives in line with departmental philosophy.
• Confidentiality: Ensure the security and confidentiality of all booking-related files, adhering to department procedures and protecting sensitive information.
• Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or designate to support team and operational needs.
