• Grade 12 education or equivalent education with working experience.• Must have demonstrated typing and other basic clerical skills including computer ie. Microsoft Office, e-mail and faxing experience.
• Answers telephone and or console, takes messages, screens and re-routes calls for both internal and external customers.• Dispatches tasks utilizing computer software.• Resolves service problems to customer’s satisfaction.• Monitors alarm panels and initiates response to codes and alarms• Trouble shoots pager and telephone handling questions.• Attends all dept./hospital in-service orientation and other meetings as required.• Competence with telecommunications and network technology.• Performs other clerical functions• Performs other duties as assigned.
